An illustration of the iconic Audi Quattro S1. The Audi Quattro was originally developed using the same platform as the Audi 80 coupé. Development started in 1977 and the car first appeared in the world rally championship in 1980. It was the first car to take advantage new WRC rules allowing four wheel drive to be used. After the Quattro came the Quattro A1 in 1983, and then later in 1983 the Quattro A2 was introduced - each with larger engines than the last under Group B rules. In 1984 the Sport Quattro S1 featured in this artwork was introduced, with a carbon-kevlar chassis, wider wheel arches and an engine producing 444hp. An E2 variant ran in 1985-86, with the last cars built rated at a staggering 592hp by the end. Available in three different sizes, and printed to order on 260gsm gloss paper. Frame is not included.
